Message from Dona Bertarelli
Dear all,
Thank you for believing in us and helping my team and me turn a dream into reality.
At 2:49 am on Sunday morning together we wrote an important page in Swiss sailing history by winning the Bol d’Or Mirabaud with a mainly female team.
I would like to personally thank Elodie, Justine, Manu and Morgane, not to forget Nathalie and Marie who could not be here, for their dedication. Over the last four years, we have worked extremely hard and made many sacrifices to get this far. This victory was so well deserved as it required concentration, team work and energy in very challenging sailing conditions. The girls always knew how to support me and each other in an incredible way.
Thanks to Arnaud, for his dedication to our team since the beginning of this season. Arnaud brought us his great experience and his knowledge of the Lake.
A special thank you to Christian who helped us by coming onboard at such short notice. I am proud to have been part of your sixth Bol d’Or victory and your first D35 victory!
Thanks also to our guardian angels, Raffaella, Nico and Claudy who we can always count on for permanent support and assistance. Because of their patience and professionalism in looking after the boat preparation and meticulous shore support they have helped us accomplish our greatest victory on the water.
Thank you to all those who followed us and inspire us at every opportunity through their messages of encouragement and their presence when we sail. You are the basis of our Fan Club!
